A company event with a show — what to settle in advance
In the tech parks of Yokneam and Haifa this is more common than you would think. Where it works and where it blows up.

A company event is the format where the most can go wrong, and not because of the show. Because of the crowd, the building and the following morning.
A team event versus a company event
Organised by the team itself, outside working hours, with voluntary attendance — that works. An official company event with a show like this is almost always a bad idea, even if everyone laughs on the night. The difference is who chose to be in the room.
The building
Tech parks have security, cameras and entry logs. The dancer comes in as an ordinary guest, and someone needs to arrange her entry in advance — do not leave it to the guard at the last minute.
Shorter and quieter
At a company event the show should be short and sharp — fifteen minutes maximum. And keep the music lower than usual: in an office building sound travels further than you expect.
The venue that does work
A converted industrial space in the Krayot industrial zone or in Migdal HaEmek is in fact the best setting there is. Far better than a meeting room.
Photos — especially not here
At a company event we recommend skipping photos entirely, even if the dancer agrees. A picture from that night circulating in a work chat is exactly the story nobody wants.
The bottom line
Only if everyone knows what they are walking into, only away from the office, only in a room with voluntary entry, and with no photos at all. If any of those is missing, skip it.
